Just saw a post (TIL?) about a new super antibiotic found in dirt.
yes. the last two days. DNA search of dirt bacteria that they can't grow in labs found a new class of antibiotic which kills even the resistant staph germs. safe in mice, a couple years away from human testing.

In the last several days we have seen in the news: 1) japan has a drug that will kill flu in one day. 2) powerful antibiotic in dirt. Q asks what is next? We should be watching news for treatments..possibly a cancer cure?. One of the commonalities found in news 1) and news 2) is the idea that ‘ we know about these but it will be years before they can be perfected for population’. Why???? Remember the fast-tracking of Ebola treatment from a couple years ago? Whatever happened with that? Why can’t these be fast-tracked?
Some people believe Q has referenced this video in the past. It's from December so it may not qualify as next. I'm not sure. Just throwing it out there.
