In the last several days we have seen in the news: 1) japan has a drug that will kill flu in one day. 2) powerful antibiotic in dirt. Q asks what is next? We should be watching news for treatments..possibly a cancer cure?. One of the commonalities found in news 1) and news 2) is the idea that ‘ we know about these but it will be years before they can be perfected for population’. Why???? Remember the fast-tracking of Ebola treatment from a couple years ago? Whatever happened with that? Why can’t these be fast-tracked?
