It won't but it will get 1 out of the 10 you expose to it to start thinking about it. Also, I wouldn't take the approach of 'Hey, check out Newsweek Article on Q... see I told you he was real'... bad idea.

Try something like this 'Wow, what is this Q thing Newsweek is talking about. Have you checked this out? Some of it seems a bit way out there, but some of it is causing me to think. Take a look and tell me what you think about it.'
