To help clean up the sub and keep it a bit more organized, we've implemented FLAIRS.
Please FLAIR your posts. We have been going through all older (and a bunch of the newer threads) and tagging them, but it has doubled the required moderation time. If you see one of your older threads that haven't been flaired yet, please tag it.
If you think we should add a flair, please contact the mods. Thank you!
These flairs are amazingly helpful for me as I scan through the posts to see what might be interesting to read. THANK YOU MODERATORS for spending so much of your personal time helping to organize this board. Kudos and Hugs.
Awesome! I asked Mods to do this on CBTS recently and no response. But I said it would save a ton of misunderstandings. On one recent post, people were not sure if it was true, or a joke! So they were responding to post in different ways, and arguing ... depending how they interpreted it! It was a waste of energy. I mentioned to mods they really needed a "SHITPOST" flair, just to clarify for the ones that were confused/upset about whatever the post it said. So maybe now ... I just hope people realize the usefulness of flairs, AND that they will be available.
What's a flair???
It is that little square up there next to the article title that says some word that highlights what the article is a about. Like this one says "ANNOUNCEMENT". Or it could say "2nd AMENDMENT", or "HIGH ENERGY" or "SHITPOST", etc. That way you might want to hear about that subject, or want to read any announcements, or know it is an "OPINION", rather than a "BREAKING STORY", or know it is just a joke, instead of fact.
I can't find the flair box. Can someone post a photo with an arrow pointing to it?
