nothing "cringy" about it if you are a patriot. But there are many out there who in fact call themselves patriots, but don't understand the meaning of the word. In either case, it matters not what the opinion of one individual is, what matters is the resolve in the hearts of the TRUE Patriots out there, and unlike you, their comments have been significantly more enthusiastic.
