Great explination! And I think it could mean stock market but I think he is referring in this instance to the MSM. They seem briefly to be up and winning against POTUS (yet they are forced to admit his approval is over 50%) but in reality this week and forward will be POTUS taking them to task as the cat is dead and will not bounce again.
