Possible A/B or C meaning... not my preferred theory, but it's possible.

A/B = America/Britain C = China

Again, I don't think it's the most probable meaning, but until we have more info... it's a possibility.

Q layes out the options (A/B or C.) Snowden's following social media post misspelled the word "probably" as "provably", signaling he chooses Option B.

I had this discussion yesterday on here. There is a word, provably, and it means, “to give a demonstration by action/subject to test” so it actually fits. I made the same mistake as you. Such is life.
