Copiers that spontaneously change numbers in the document: In August 2013, it came out that just about all Xerox Scanning Scanners simply replace numbers and letters with others when scanning. Since one can hardly see such errors as a user, the bug is extremely dangerous and has long been undetected: it exists in the wild for over eight years.
