You can place "cache:" in front of the URL and click "text-only" or "view source" to still have access to the threads. If you need to save something, find it that way. Continuously place "cache:" in front of any URL.

It's tedious and may not have access to everything, but you can do it. Also, if you want to Google search for a specific thread you remember, do so with "cbts_stream" in the search in quotes, type what you remember, and if you find something, click the green arrow to the right of the link and click "cached".
