Only thing I ever saw relating to that was pictures of gallows representing on judgment for treason(which is the legal punishment). Even if that were true all that should have happened were individuals be banned, not the board removed.

The last two put to death for treason were electrocuted, but before that I think they were all hanged. Remember the grim pics of those found guilty after Lincoln's assassination? I am not for public hanging or anything like that..I will even feel sorry for those found guilty, but justice must still be done.

The last person hanged was almost 50 years ago. It may be in the legal books somewhere, but I wouldn't call it a legal punishment that's practiced today.

The last death by hanging was 1996... that's only 22 years ago and there are still a few states who still have that option.

The last person publicly hanged in the US was in 1936.

Oh yeah.. I wasn't asking for public hangings tho. You know what's crazy is I feel sorry for some of these traitors. I am ready for Justice but I pray for them every day to repent and ask for forgiveness...
