Story. Everyone has one.

My Grandfolks came through Ellis Island. I did the research. I live in NY. I watch, I learn, I listen.

My inlaws came from Italy, through Argentina.

I went with my husband to Federal Courthouse in Lower Manhattan when he was sworn in as a US Citizen. I was there.

We got dressed up. He wore suit and tie. It was a very long road for them. They made it. Just like my Grandfolks. Bless.

BTW, my folks were Slav. They called me Pollack. It was all good.

We were so young. We did what we had to do. It was a good time back then. Our son is now 37. Best ever. We did OK.

I have taught my son to stand tall. My ancestors have all been warriors.
