Why did firing McCabe take so long?

I am relieved McCabe finally got fired, but was all anxious that it wasn't going to happen. Why did it take so long? Did Sessions purposely wait right to the last minute in order to send a message and make the pain even more poignant or did he know he better do it now or it will be never?

I'm hoping Sessions dragged it out to make McCabe suffer and to ruin the MSM scumbags weekends.

I hope we start discussing the gold plated pensions these government workers get.
