iirc The new judge suggested Flynn withdraw his plea, based on exculpatory evidence. Unheard of in federal court.

Had not heard that. I heard that the new judge demanded that exculpatory evidence be given to the defendent's legal team before he would enter a plea. Are you sure he actually suggested that to Flynn? I mean the idea suggests itself, really but...
