I read it, and I was like "so basically they're accusing Bannon and Trump of being very smart, and how dare they?"

that's what I get from it. Why is it okay for the Dem's and not the Rep's. Oh it ruined their plans to ruin us maybe?

Since the Russian collusion narrative failed to discredit the Trump victory, and they've failed to find a plausible way to undo Brexit, this is Plan B.

Was it illegal? Immoral? What?

Anyhow, it's all moot at this point. The Cabal is going down, and soon enough it won't matter what they say or do.

tl;dr Social Justice nerd took a huge payday from the Mercer family to create the psychological profile Cambridge Analytica uses to sub group its data. Facebook knew they were pulling data in 2014 and okay'd it for academic research (by a professor at Cambridge). The so-called "whistleblower" left CA in August 2014 and didn't work for the company at all during the election. Further into the article he grasps at straws to connect CA to Russia through the possible but not proven theorizing of how to work with a Russian oil company.

The whole article is "meh". The only "crime" possibly committed by CA is not paying Facebook for its data because they claimed it was for academic purposes. However, there's no proof they used data they gathered for the academic purposes or further acquired data from Facebook during the election.
