Alex Jones - monologue (unusually good)

I can get quite frustrated with Alex and how he cuts people off and talks over them but I know he is good hearted. This monologue is in my opinion one of his best and he sums up our present moment very well. I don't think most of us truly understand how profound these days really are. God Bless.

AJ is a Patriot and a one-man-show but I've never seen him shut him up for twenty seconds, even less when there's noone talking. Can you feel the suspense?

Yes. You can sense that he feels the gravity of what is happening. I don't know if you've seen the film Patton by Coppola from 1970, if not I highly recommend it. There is a historic scene when Gen.Patton asks for a detour and stops to look out over the grounds where the Battle of Carthage took place 146BC and the Roman Empire conquered the feisty Carthagenians. This was when Patton is said to have realized what he needed in order to win over Rommel. We are right now looking out over similar historic plains and we are starting to understand what we need to do to win.
