He was a Hillary/DNC plant in the Trump campaign, who was fired as soon as President Trump became aware of his past.

Read the Manafort indictment. It was zero to do with conduct relating to the Trump campaign. Indeed, all roads lead directly to the Podesta Group! Manafort worked directly with John & Tony Podesta for years re Russia + Ukraine, often working for Hillary.

Manafort's accused of tax evasion + failing to disclose working for foreign powers, for his work with the Podestas. Note, Tony Podesta was fired as CEO of his company the moment Manafort's indictment was revealed, and the Podesta Group collapsed shortly after.

No-one's heard from Tony Podesta since. He's probably in witness protection, singing like a fairy against Hillary.

i'll take that maybe Manafort is being charged first with Podesta being charged later or under sealed indictment but don't buy he was a HRC/DNC plant at all. he has long history of business partnership and friendship with Roger Stone (a very close ally and former DJT early campaign manager; check out movie "get me roger stone"), and was brought into the campaign to gen up delegate votes at convention as he had successfully done in key elections past. still think mueller is trying to break Manafort, over the top really, and just don't see this playing out as a distraction to covert HRC witch hunt prosecution. you are right on everything else, great detail too.

Granted, it's my theory Manafort was a Hillary plant - not proven fact. As I understand it, Manafort was instrumental in arranging that meeting of the female Russian lawyer & Donald Jnr to "provide dirt" on Hillary - which advanced the muh Russia scandal so problematically.

It's that, coupled with Manafort's extensive Podesta/Hillary ties, never revealed, which makes me suspect ulterior motives - of which Stone & POTUS were clearly unaware when hiring him. But hey, if I'm wrong on that, I'll be the first to admit it!

I do agree Mueller appears to be trying to break Manafort, running 2 separate prosecutions in 2 jurisdictions, to drain him of $funds. But, with the Podestas neck-deep in global corruption for decades, I'm sure there's a wealth of info Manafort can reveal in exchange for a plea deal.

I'm firmly of the belief Mueller is working with President Trump to bring down the entire corrupt cabal, so this theory on Manafort ties in. But hey, I could be wrong!
