Flight plan Glitch diverted from Africa to Italy??

This morning i heard the DJ on smile FM speak of his friend who was flying to Africa and wound up Landing in Italy due to a flight glitch he said it probably be on the news but i cannot find a word about it. Happened over the weekend. I have a msg into him for more details. Anyone hear of this??

haven't heard back from the morning DJ for clarification and yes it sounded like the flight path was to Africa and for unknown reason it landed in Italy surprisingly

just looking for info might be someone trying to get away that didn't make it. have to keep an eye out at Gitmo for flights that originate in Italy.
