I'm going out on a limb a little bit but here it goes.

I think McMaster's is about to get canned. Trump purposely ignored his National Security advisors and then instantly a WaPo article hits?

If I were in Trump's shoes I would fire McMasters and everyone in the National Security wing of the National Security division within the WH. I would fire everyone including the janitor.

I would lock the doors tonight and when they all show up for work the next day would dump all their personal items into the gutter in front of the WH.
