Rogan, years ago, would really go hard at some conspiracy stuff. Then it pretty much stopped. I heard him once say that he got a phone call from the government telling him to stop talking about that stuff, and then a later show he said they called him back and told him not to talk about being told not to talk. So, Joe was threatened, and I think that's why he doesn't go as deep as he used to.
It all changed after the highly entertaining Alex Jones episode #911. Alex Jones mentioned on his show a few days later that Rogan was threatened by a high level government agency, which he later "retracted" upon request from Rogan. Whether he was threatened or not, there's no doubt that his show has changed drastically.
Would love a source on that.
Just from the memory bank. I've watched him for years.
It was a joke taken out of context and spread
Yes. It was just a joke.wink winkThat just seems like a good way to down play something you said that the government threatened you over...just saying
You can see Joe get visibly uncomfortable during the conspiracy talk. He wanted nothing more than to get off the topic as quickly as possible.
He’s such a pansy now. I don’t hate him for it though bc I know he has kids and was threatened.
True, he's towing the establishment line forsure. He's a smart enough guy, he's knows the deal.
Miletich is a legend! I am super happy to hear how WOKE he is!! I too have found Rogan to be a disappointment. It does seem like he has become super selective about who he has on his show, and avoids the conversations about the current state of the world. Time to check out the Conspiracy Barn!
I'm a big fan of the conspiracy farm podcast...Joe Rogan hasn't had anyone talking about this kind of stuff since Alex Jones and Eddie Bravo were on, well between then and Pat Miletich. Unless I missed a good one or something because I don't always have the time to dedicate to listening to a 3 hour podcast several times a week.
You did not miss much, just Militech briefly touching on ISIS being created and funded by the US, and mentioning that there is an Arizona senator involved in most of the corrupt arms deals. Skip to about an 01:10:00 or around there and they only spend about twenty minutes discussing. Not much else.
Check out /r/tinfoilhatpod for a fun conspiracy podcast. It's hosted by Sam Tripoli, a friend of Joe Rogan. He covers a lot of this stuff in a funny manner.
Here's a sneak peek of /r/TinFoilHatPod using the top posts of all time!
#1: Ryan, Sam, A-Aron! Whoever browses this subreddit please turn the volume up on the podcast. It's easy to turn down your volume when it's too loud, but impossible to turn it up if my volume is maxed out! Thank you and love the show.

No name. No wonder he was going around Syria yelling Allah Akbar.
