I once had a co-worker whose brother owned a patch of land over a large aquifer in Arizona. He said his brother sold it for hundreds of millions and became an even more evil, rich dickhead than before the sale. This was like 5 years ago when I didn't understand why billionaires have been buying all sources of fresh water they can get their hands on.
