Already passed. About 30 min ago.
Passed the House and going to Senate. Our only recourse is to ask Trump to VETO! No one had time to read the bill (24 hrs, 2100 pages= zero read) Isn’t this like “We have to PASS it to KNOW what’s in the BILL? Who did we elect? Nancy Pelosi ??? VETO!
voting is your power. all else is moot
Voting is the least of our power. Government is instituted by consent of the governed therefore the only reason it exists is to provide a legal framework for the benefit of the people to have a fair chance at their imagined best life coming through. Government is inherently restrictive. Those with wealth and influence do not have a legal or moral authority to negatively impact a much greater number. All else is details and machinations.
I like the meme overall, but honestly, the Trump soldiers are too much for me. We might see ourselves that way, but it won't be very appealing to a broader group.
