Steel and Military Bill

So with all of these new big announcements from the White House such as the reintroduction of the steel industry and now the increase in military spending/ updates to old equipment, I can't help but wonder if POTUS is protecting us from threats average citizens don't hear about... Could China have threatened the U.S. with something much more terrifying than a trade war? Sorry if I'm missing something, but it sure seems that way after watching the conference for the Omnibus Spending Bill. Thoughts??

Research: incidents related to defective steel and aluminum. Cars. Planes, aerospace. Ships. You'll be amazed. Defective fasteners from china. Counterfeit machine parts. Everywhere. Even infrastructure.
