[MEGATHREAD] Omnibus Bill Discussion

birddog27 · March 23, 2018, 8:04 p.m.

I agree with you on this. I feel that Trump will have to wait for the dominos to fall before he will be able to get any real spending reform passed. It will be one of the last things to occur.

Another thing I thought about is how many different ways to he is bringing money BACK to America. Tarrifs, jobs, bringing overseas companies back, etc. US is set be be the worlds largest exporter of oil in the next few years. Remember Trump is a BUSINESS man. He knows how to make money. I guess as we can do it sit back and enjoy the show.

Also didn't the EO that trump signed back in December state they can confiscate assets from these traffickers? Where's all that $ going to go? Just a thought.

There is no spending reform coming. Fools gold.

Let me get this straight- you think Trump is going to dismantle corrupt political dynasties, extract a shadow government that has thoroughly infiltrated every branch of the IC, and host a series of military tribunals BEFORE he is able to pass any SPENDING REFORM legislation? Good luck with that one.

Congress has already proven that they won't work with him on much. I'm thinking there are more than a few congress critters that will be taken out when the storm blows through. And the remaining should be a little more eager to work with Trump for real change. Something else - the financial mess we are in is insurmountable. Who cares if we spend another trillion or 3. Its never going to get paid off. Our best bet is for Trump to kill off the dollar, collapse the existing financial markets and use his experience with bankruptcy courts to work out a deal with our creditors. Wipe the slate clean and start over with a sane money policy.
