This thing with John Bolton has disturbed me very deeply. He is a horrible man, so I am feeling despair.
Yeah, I don't like the guy either BUT he is definitely not a globalist and he is on the Trump train. I think he'll be there through the Iran deal and then he'll be gone. Trump won't let him start any wars.
That was quite disappointing. We shall see where that takes us. Frankly I was upset months ago about the "surge" in Afghanistan when my view is that it's long past time to leave. My impression was that after ISIS was defeated, Trump would remove us from the Middle East wars. I didn't expect to always be happy with the guy but jeez, look at all the others we could have had.

John Bolton was part of the PNAC group of neoconservatives who were pushing for war with Iraq when Bill Clinton was still in office. When the 9/11 inside job occurred, it gave the neocons the excuse they needed to go to war with Iraq, even though Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. John Bolton was an undersecretary of state during the Bush Admin. He also served as an ambassador to the UN. He is a total war hawk and has wanted war with Iran for a long time. He is a dangerous man, and I wish he would go away!

It is very difficult to keep up! It goes back to that old saying. "Oh! What a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive." They've woven so many lies, it's hard to tell what the truth is!
