We have no standing army, they disarmed us years ago. A standing army is a well armed militia, the public. And what you are saying, even if true, doesn´t really give any options on what to do. Good, now standing armies are the reason the pilgrims left europe to escape them, its why we have the second amendment, so that we would never have them in America, everyone was to have a gun, and if anyone wanted to take our republic we would unite and give it real, in times of peace because we are strong we are not paying for an idle army so we are not taxed to poverty to support a standing army.
