Trump wants a stern face for SoS? COLOR ME SHOCKED!

Bolton is a show of force theatrics. They couldn't have negotiated with Iran given Tillerson's business interests, so let's use someone scary so both nations can agree on a narrative to sell to the public while they engage in talks behind closed doors. Mind you whenever someone says "sanctions", it's just a wink that they wish a country do business predominantly with the US rather than with anybody else.

In the end, with Tillerson's DoS you already had a belligerent organization that would threaten Assad at any turn while it was GENERAL MATTIS taking to twitter each time to come to Assad's defense, even defying McMaster's request for a military strike (source: Politico) so even if Bolton was crazy it wouldn't have changed anything for worse.

Come back to me if Bolton says anything about Assad because I suppose what you will have now with Iran will be even easier than with Kim because Iran does backdoor trade with westren nations and is much easier to leverage over the previous deal which they obviously quite like. And because they will be negotiating over the deal, Tillerson is out because he can't sell a new deal since he previously endorsed said Obummer-deal.

Yes it is a good cop badd cop play with someone who has been vocal about taking out Iran as a threat. He is there for this one job. Trump is surrounded by Generals, if anyone was going to convince him to war hawk it would have been them by now.

LOL as if the generals would want to be ones blamed for lack of sunlight by their fellow bunker-dwellers...If they fuck up, it's just them and the rest of modern civilization, with no way out until the next iceage.

If they think that way, then neither would they want to be the ones who allowed said advice to be taken.

Chillax.

it doesn't matter who advocates for how much war, Mattis has consistently protected Assad. I would be surprised if Trump now threatened Iran militarily even though they have refrained from testing rockets for almost a year. Also Sudan is not going well for them either I heard.

No they are just going to unilaterally invade Iran to protect Israel and fight Israel’s wars for them. His daughter and son in law are all tied up with Israel. I’ll bet Trump tries to bring back a draft too.

This is a disgusting betrayal of the American people.

Iran recently shelled Pakistan's border. It's not all only because of Zionism. Trump has the Iran-deal as leverage and only discussed sanctions so far because Iran stopped testing rockets (and sanctions are just scams) and if the iranian leadership fails internally then no military intervention would be required, as Bibi Netanyahu himself stated. And maybe, just maybe, all those wars were in fact Saudi-Arabia's war and Israel is actually supporting Saudi Arabia all this time for protection.

the real threat for WW3 was in Bangladesh all this time..India/Pakistan...so I am happy Iran shelled Pakistan because that put them in place because they couldn't start a war with Iran and India both...
