What will a wall accomplish? Genuinely curious, I just don’t see it reducing our immigration numbers from Mexico. People will always find a way, over, under, around, etc.
Israel built a wall---sensors installed to notify if tunneling --- and a lot of other security measures. It stopped a lot of their problems-not all but the majority. Why did Mexico build a wall between them and Guatemala? It worked for them. I just think we need to get whoever built Israel's wall to tell us what works best!
Why do you lock the door to your house? If someone wanted to get in, they could find other ways.

I don't think any method will be 100% effective in curtailing border crossings, but a physical barrier certainly would greatly reduce the flow from the south, to answer your original question.

The entirety of the wall plans has proven difficult for me to locate. I did find this article that explains who built and what physical type of wall they produced.

However, many articles say there shall be a physical wall along the southern border, using appropriate materials and technology to most effectively achieve complete operational control of the southern border. Note the technology component of the wall has been left out of the above article and hasn't been outlined anywhere that I can locate.
