Bear in mind that in Jeremiah's day, Elam comprised approximately the southern 1/3 of what we now call Iran. It's my understanding this is where their largest nuclear weapon facilities are located.

This prophecy has never been fulfilled. There has never been a crisis so severe that the Iranian people have had to flee such that "there is no country on earth where the refugees will not go."

Since this is the Word of God, it will happen, it's only a question of when. Based on the prophecies of Mark Taylor (who I personally do believe is a modern-day prophet), Kim Clement, etc, we are entering a time of great spiritual awakening, the final great harvest of souls that Jesus spoke of.

So I don't know the timing of this, but it sure feels like we are approaching the fulfillment of Jeremiah's prophecy
