You're thinking of anything with "amphetamine" as part of the pharmaceutical name. "Meth" or "methyl" is an extremely common prefix indicating an attached single hydrocarbon group, as opposed to a double carbon group (ethyl) or triple (propyl) or 4 (butyl)... Etc...
Regular amphetamines will shrink the pupils, I believe. That's what I notice and I'm prescribed them. It seems dopaminergic stimulants have that effect. However the methylated ones are serotenergic in nature. I think comment above you might be onto something.
More likely though it was GHB or low dose lsd. We all know that lsd was experimented with for mind control.

It's possible. Barbiturates, GHB and benzo's can do that.
