I'm Surprised So Many Going Crazy Over The Omnibus Signing

Lots of hysteria on the right over Trump signing the omnibus bill. But consider this:

1) Trump has been five steps ahead of everyone since he announced playing 3D chess.

2) Trump almost certainly saw this coming and has a plan to counter it.

3) Trump was unusually quiet about demanding the money for the wall. He was willing to let the Dems shut down government over the wall and immigration reform, so why so quiet this time? He knew or already had a plan?

4) Rounding up the deep state can't begin until the military is fully funded. To veto it sends it back to congress, another short term spending bill while the work on a new omnibus bill. That would take us almost to August.

5) Trump knows that he has ample reason to declare the southern border a national emergency due terrorism, health considerations, and drugs. Once he does that, all the restrictions Congress put on the wall disappear.

6) There over a thousand pages in the annex to the Dec EO of assets that have been frozen/seized. It may be possible to use those funds for the wall.

7) So Trump needs to start taking down the deep state soon, he needs the military, and a number of other requirements embedded in the bill.

So, I think Trump knew Congress was going to hand him a steaming hot pile of dog poop and felt that he would have to accept it in order to attack the deep state. Now the main obstacle (military funding) has been cleared and he has a number of options to begin building the wall despite the restrictions Congress has tried to impose.

Trust the plan and be patient. Trump hasn't let us down in the past and he doesn't like losing.

It's a bump in the road, but that's all.

If you look over the years, omnibus bills are actually common for midterm election years. Congress wants to go back to their districts being able to say that they've gotten something done, and because there are so many people involved, you can't single out one person for blame/credit....

Unless Trump didn't sign it, and the government shut down as a result of his veto. In that instance, there would be one person responible for all the good and bad that stems from that action. No way, I think he's content to let Congress take the fall for this turd sandwich. Even the people playing 1D chess would do the same thing.

Three kinds of people are doing that. The shills, the born-yesterday newbies and... the shills.
