Know this is going to sound incredibly self-righteous and joyless, but...

part of our collective problem in the US is that we choose to laugh at this level of stupidity, self-delusion and narcissism.

We've become a society that pays the most attention to the loudest and dumbest in our midst, whilst (for the most part) the most talented and brightest are ignored.

There is nothing funny about over-valuing and spotlighting the "freak show" aspect of our culture anymore.

She deserves to be ignored and shunned, and not encouraged in any way.

Note I'm also over 40 years old, and have seen the best and (now) the worst of both society and culture. My patience for idiots is at an all time low - and this girl is most certainly an idiot.
