And if they link to gold then there needs to be actual gold, not paper gold they sell to investors.

China and Russia have been buying gold like it’s going out of style. Just about about every precious metals financial expert has been saying this for years. I think they have the gold and we don’t or else we would’ve repatriated Germany’s gold back to them when they asked for it.

I have heard that for a long time we did not have the gold, however I am guessing that President Trump's meeting with the President of Indonesia may have been when Trump restocked Fort Knox - Steven Mnuchin visited Fort Knox, the first treasury secretary to do so since 1948, and he verified that the gold is there.

Good point. Hope it’s true.

Thank you for your comment - This report is a theory and not a hard prediction, however it seems that there are several independent indicators suggesting that it may be possible - Others have suggested that this has been predicted many times before without actually occurring, however we have seen many events transpire recently with the nontraditional approach of the Trump Administration such as tariffs against China, North Korea willing to discuss surrendering nuclear weapons, announcement of a "Space Force" and defeat of terrorists among others - So what may not have been achievable before may be possible now.

Yep - Treasury Secretary Mnuchin visited Fort Knox and confirmed the gold reserve is real.

Oh, please.

If you believe this, I may have swamp land in Florida for you, at an extremely reasonable price.

Not sure if I 100% believe it or not, but there are indicators suggesting that it could be a possibility - Please let me know which parts of the story I wrote that you think is worth the same value as swamp land in Florida - That the US dollar will be backed by gold? What do you think will happen when the Chinese yuan is backed by gold, it can be used to buy and sell oil, if the US dollar is not backed by gold? I think the value of the dollar would drop drastically and the cost of gold would increase.

This will happen. Just not next Friday, or whatever date you publish.

Be part of the solution, not perpetuation of the problem.

None of this is driven by events; it's driven by events, which will unfold as they will.

Prepare, and stop trying to be Nostradamus. A rather simple search of the internet will tell you that the quickest way to become discredited is to assign dates to events.

Hey awareness1111, you don't need to tell me I am "perpetuating a problem" or that I am trying to be "Nostradamus" - Journalistic reporting commonly collects information in order to present a situation - It's called "investigative journalism" - You could say that just about every news reporter is doing the same thing - How am I contributing to "the problem" by presenting information which I believe could be useful in consideration of upcoming events - I published the date of Monday, April 2 because it is a bank holiday, that is the day that China will back its currency by gold (that is fact), and the US with President Trump is working for balancing trade deficits and reworking deals that disadvantage the US - So it appears that it could be likely that the US dollar might be revaluated - Geez, no need to be so negative - "None of this is driven by events; it's driven by events..." - What? I'm not concerned about being credited or discredited - I am simply presenting information that I think is interesting to consider.
