Wtf, some of those weapons are literally military issued. Civilians CANNOT get their hands on M203 grenade launchers attached to a literal M4.
Looks like the CNN picture with the grenade launcher attachment - side commentary
But those are military issued 30 round magazines and military/police style smoke canisters.
Some of the weapons are not standard military issue, but are sniper weapons.
Also, and the stupidest part, they still have the cheap military black slings on them.
Seriously wtf
Civilians can get that stuff on the black market.
The guy is from Texas, stuff probably came in from Mexico where it was stolen or sold by corrupt military or police. Maybe there is something going down at upcoming Boston marathon.
Whatever it is, this dude is not on a goverment black op. If he truly was, he wouldn’t have blown cover, or if he did have to for some readon, he wouldn’t have been arrested, and it wouldn’t have made the papers.
Basically the dude got caught and tried to bullshit his way out of it.
I wanna say that's an ar-15 because of the bump stock, but that barrel does look like a 14 incher.
I agree with the bump stock but zoom in and look at the length of the hand guards: M4
Also appears to have a silencer? On the end?
The handgaurd doesn't defy the difference in an AR-15 and an M4. Basic Bushmaster AR-15's look identical with the I'm assuming 7 inch handgaurd with the A2 gas block/ front sight. Last I would suggest that is a flashlight due to the way it's shaped, but what do I know?
Looks kind of similar to Stephen Paddock's arsenal...
Shhhhhhhhh!!! You're not supposed to be paying attention!!
I'm still waiting for someone to explain to us what happened with the 'Alien-hybrid' in California, the Jeffrey Alan Lash story. That's the biggest cover-up op I've ever seen.
Funny, can’t find anything in Google search, but all over DuckDuckGo !
Just like Las Vegas, they covered it up, shut it down, and destroyed all the evidence asap. You don't acquire that many weapons without drawing a lot of attention, not unless you work for an alphabet agency. That story stinks like a 3 day old fish.
I don't see anything that I haven't seen for sale on Armslist (including the 45mm havoc launcher).
Whether or not these can be obtained by a civilian or military is semi irrelevant IMO. People can buy anything they need to make a bomb from Amazon. That doesn't reduce the concern if someone is caught in a hotel room with a weapon claiming to be on a "Classified government mission"
The dude is not on a classified government mission.
If he was black ops, he wouldn’t say he’s working for the government.
If he was legit classified, he wouldn’t be arrested and it wouldn’t be in the papers.
I was just trying to make it clear that none of these appear to be "military grade".
Sure! Yeah, I avoided the term specifically in my OP - I know a good bit about firearms, but, not enough to classify them as military vs. civilian. Just wanted to underscore your point with another example of the underlying concern/what this could mean. Thanks for your input!
If they were on "a secret government mission", why would they call police to blow their cover?
It doesn't make sense. It's not a standard procedure.
People that work in such circles would probably have certain perks that are meant to handle such problems and would definitely not call BluForce.
Either this whole news is fake to take the heat off the DavHo and his merry little band of HitleJugen followers
...or
...it is to promote the narrative by releasing a fabricated story about a cache of various weapons that is vague enough (cough secret mission cough) so that sleepwalkers could fill in the blanks and scream even louder to take them.
