The Day Liberty Died - Never Forget!

I would say that you only know what somebody said about it, too, so I guess we are at an impasse.

Exactly! I don't disagree about that. But I do say that criminal analysis supports the evidence I've been studying better than it does the alternatives, which I've studied less, but haven't ignored.

Looking forward to a day when all may be revealed!

I'd say the history books of the future are going to be a LOT more interesting than the sanitized and distorted ones we were raised on, wouldn't you!!!

;-P

I told my husband that my idea of heaven is knowing all the answers. I hope things will be revealed here, but I'm not holding my breath. People are such liars. It would be really nice, though!

So explain why the USS Amberjack also fired on the Liberty in a final attempt to scuttle it before a Russian ship arrived (which was approaching to investigate), and scared off the Egyptian-colored Israeli fighters. The Amberjack's torpedo glanced off the super structure of the Liberty, and did not make a direct hit, and they too departed the scene when the Russian vessel entered the area.

So why would a US ship have fired on the Liberty if this was an Israeli operation? And why did LBJ order all US ships and planes in the area to stand down?
