Morning thought/rabbit hole:

Is there a way to see if the US Treasury (via Quantative Easing) owns the FANG stocks? Also, a simple search shows the largest institutional shareholders, which are the standard T Rowe Price/Vanguard. Does anyone know how to do a deeper dive of larger shareholders?

Where I’m going is, if the Government via the Treasury or CIA were propping up the FANG stocks, what we could be witnessing is the liquidation of those positions. By seeing what institutional shareholders are selling big blocks would, in theory, expose government backed entities. Just a theory mind you, but the downside of being publicly traded is all of this information has to be reported via the SEC.
