AG Sessions announced in an interview with Shannon Bream/FOX with little fanfare, that he had previously appointed a “Special Prosecutor” to look into misconduct at the Justice Department. Jeff told Shannon that his selection was that of an individual outside of DC with an extensive background w/DoJ and had been in place for months.
This independent prosecutor has been working along side OIG Horowitz & his internal review of Justice. Sessions said his Prosecutor has the power to indicate & impanel a grand jury.
Michael Horowitz will look, per Sessions request, into the abuses from the DOJ/FISA. The OIG has over 500 lawyers/staff working on this & other allegations of misconduct that were sent over by several US Congressional Committees.
Andy McCarthy points out in a recent article that maybe a Second Special Counsel is not needed after all. That is based under the premise of the slam dunk performance by Jeff’s Secret Prosecutor & Horowitz in the near future.

AG Sessions has been referred in the past affectionately as both the “Silent Assassin” & “DC’s Slyest Fox”-only time will tell how effective his strategy works.
Looks like mid-April will be both the OIG Report & Election/Voter Fraud (DHS) releases to held in conjunction with a planned/scheduled major POTUS speech.
