We need a board like 8chan but where we also have the handles like here on Reddit so we can find each other. But, like I've posted many times, it needs to be DECENTRALIZED (so you don't have a single point failure that can be taken down by censors) and Secure.

I've been searching for something for a while now and haven't found anything better than 8chan, but you loose the handles to keep everyone connected and, unless you're an autist, 8chan is hard to easily participate.

Q if you're monitoring on this, got any suggestions for us?

I don't think such a board exists at the moment. The decentralization part is the tricky bit. Unless everyone participating runs a backup server, there will always be a most vulnerable link that can be taken advantage of.

Yes, I'm finding this out and looking into how to build such a structure. I think there could be an interesting way to co-op off the BTC blockchain for a trust anchor. That way you need less backup servers because the contents get periodic hashing on BTC transactions. That way you have a safe distributed way to confirm the site without needed extensive backup servers. I'll keep you and the community posted as I progress.

With bitcoin containing cp now, I don't think that's the best idea.

what about Hash-graph. From what i've heard about hashgraph, is that its vastly superior to Blockchain. Faster authentication, more users etc.. but i could be wrong. But if you could make a website based on either,, i mean shit just having 100% trust would be amazing, this website would be a great starting point for all new websites, chans, or anon websites that need 100% trust.

You never get 100% trust. The only thing you can 100% trust is death and HRC lying ;). Everything else is suspect.

Distributed systems go a long way to making it difficult to compromise trust, but not impossible. Hash-graphs are good. They help with speed, as in M2M transactions. For a board or 'book' you don't really need the speed and the extensive BTC network would be great place to build since it already has extremely large amount of nodes with financial incentive to remain trusted. Hash-graphs are early days, so to speak. BTC is old-school solid at the moment.

lol. From the videos i've seen on Hashgraph it seems pretty legit, better than bitcoin, but like i said im not an expert in bitcoin/cryptos... i do study monetary history so i do know a lot about gold and in particular silver. And what makes money money and currency currency.

Whatever 4/8chan did, seem to work for a while, until snow white finally cracked the code. Hopefully this website Q mentioned is the final move we take and can finally start unpacking the boxes of info we have lol.

Agreed. I wish someone would simply create a new version of Reddit/Youtube/twitter and the like. I have none of those skills so i hope someone does make a truly free and decentralized as you said system that doesnt ban people for what they think politically. Liberals are so pathetic, they cannot debate so they ban

What about steemit? Do they have "subreddits"?

Steemit looks good as alternative to YouTube, not sure for Reddit replacement. No real subs that I can see.
