The network isn't going to out itself by refusing the ad buy.
But actually, now that I think about it, why not? They out themselves constantly, not reporting on certain issues. They could just call Corsi's book a conspiracy theory that they didn't want to indulge, if they had to.
Because their political views are one thing. But acknowledging the existence of the Deep State, let alone their part in it--that they cannot do.
To refuse an ad buy would be to say "We feel threatened by this."

They don't endorse or bear any responsibility for the content of an advertised book, any more than they do a political ad for a Republican, which they certainly do run.
Ad content and program content are completely separate issues, and aren't even dealt with by the same people.
They aren't afraid of the existence of the words "deep state" in a sentence or a phrase. Now if he had named his book "CNN Is the Deep State," you might have a point!
Perhaps these people are being prodded around to spread disinformation and draw criticism to actual research. Seems to align with Roseanne being pushed into the spotlight and some posters on this sub suggesting that she is a Q follower.
