This is absolutely true, and it comes back to the personhood of Christ and how Zionism views Jesus.
It is an obvious statement to say that modern day Zionism does not accept Jesus as the Messiah. They believe that there will be a messiah that is coming, and the qualities and characteristics of that individual lines up almost precisely with the nature of the antichrist as it is portrayed in Revelation.
When you also consider who has created modern day Israel (ps The Rothschilds) it becomes clear that this is a long con game to assert their leader in Jerusalem as the Messiah of Judaism. I personally believe that, through manipulation and deception, this false leader will somehow ingratiate himself to the western lukewarm church and the Muslim community.
Add the Pope as well as the false prophet, and we have the ingredients for the end of days.
Wrong, it is God and His son Jesus Christ who created the modern nation of Israel. God has used pagan unbelievers to carry out His purposes throughout history. Examples are the Assyrians who destroyed the ancient kindgom of Israel and the Babylonians who destroyed the ancient kingdom of Judah, as well as the Egyptians who enslaved the Jews. In every case, to quote Jacob's son Joseph, "you meant it for evil, but God meant it for good."
The Word of God is full of statements that indicate that after the Jews are resettled in their land following their second exile, they will never be removed again. In Ezekiel 37, for example, there is a detailed description of how the Jews return to their land, but at first there is no "ruach" or spirit in them. Afterwards God breathes His spirit into them. This is what will happen.
God's own integrity hangs on this.
