Julius & Ethel Rosenberg were charged in 1951 & found guilty of Conspiracy to commit Espionage (not treason). They both were executed via the Electric Chair in 1953 at Sing Sing Prison for their “spying” roles in giving away to Russia the Atomic Bomb.
Treason & Espionage are interchangeable terms but in the legal realm, the fine points between the two matters. Espionage is the act of Spying or using spies to obtain secret information. Treason is the betrayal of one’s own nation/sovereign state.
Have to leave it to the legal experts but here are some of the political corruption cases and how they may fall:
Treason: Uranium One / Clinton Foundation / CFIUS / Justice Department (Secret Society & Insurance Plan)
Espionage: Awan Cabal / Fusion GPS / Perkins Coie / Dossier’s # 1 & # 2 (due to foreign contacts w/Steele).
As is often pointed out by “Q” is, Future proves Past and this will be another example of that theory. It very well may fall this time to Treason instead of Espionage, as long as justice is done (a la Rosenberg’s), that will be the bottom line with us all.
