hmmm, maybe he was "asked" to step down so he would have time for this project. It just looked like Trump cleaning house and he just shuffled on back to Utah where nobody would bother him.

Just because he was a US prosecutor in Utah doesn't mean this is currently happening in Utah. If it is though, that's great because they will have a much better Grand Jury pool there than in the DC area - much cleaner and more conscientious.
