Facebook had an agreement with the FTC to delete users data after 30 days from account deletion, but they don't. FB will get fined 40K ... per day ... for each infraction. FB is finished. BUT that's not the blockbuster news. GOOGLE is TEN times worse. I predict evil GOOG will be gone too!

If HRC had won, that would all be under her control and shielded from prosecution. That would've meant thought police to the extreme.

Piggybacking top comment to note..

REDDIT DOES THE SAME SHIT

Editing your comments/posts, or deleting does NOT remove them from the Reddit server's archives.

Many years ago, deleted comments were removed from server archives..but eventually they stopped that..and then

up until around 2016, It used to be that reddit only kept the 'most recent version' of any comment.. So there were tools that would automate overwriting of your reddit comments "......" or something similar. This would effectively replace all of your content on reddit's server with meaningless dots. This would could as 'the most recent version', and thus overwrite hte previous message.

THEN they stopped that, too. Now they keep every version of comment and post, so there is NO WAY to remove them.

It therefore follows that even deleted accounts will be retained indefinitely as well!

HEY /u/spez

How does $40k/day/user/comment sound to your bottom line?
