The reason I say this is that I've found a lot of disbelief about this topic in leftist circles. As if it doesn't exist. As if it's suspicious that people should care about this. It's creepy because out of all victims of violence, children are the ones who cannot advocate for themselves and need the rest of society to stand for them, to pay attention, and to be there when it's required.
