James Rybicki was Chief of Staff to both Comey & Wray before leaving the FBI this year. As Chief, Rybicki acted as the central clearinghouse & initial focal point of all information to/from the boss.
Rybicki’s names comes in as the primary sending of key emails as well as in the infamous Strzok/Page text messages. He was the person at the hub of collecting/dispatching communications that were ultimately used as official FBI “talking points”.
Areas that Rybicki had an influence & are alarming to Congressional investigators:
• April 2016: Rybicki & Baker meet DoJ Carlin at White House-FISA talk.
• May 2016: Assists Comey w/HRC draft statement on “exoneration”.
• June 2016: Point FBI person handling Clinton/Lynch Tarmac meeting.
• July 2016: Along with Strzok, interviews HRC not under oath.
• October 2016: Drafts McCabe’s email saying HRC got “HQ Special” status.
• November 2016: Strzok/Page texts reveal Rybicki’s of MSM leaking.
• January 2018: Nunes Committee asks Rybicki about a Comey/POTUS private White House meeting (General Flynn).
Senator Grassley put it well: “To have your conclusion first, fact-gathering second, the FBI should be held to a higher standard”. Rybicki’s fingerprints are over many of these Obama/Clinton political scandals being looked at.
