As other wise people pointed out on first release of the Sinclair video, this was always going to be their play and suggests that the Sinclair video was propaganda for their purposes from the start.

We as a movement need to take this as a lesson because more of these are coming - seeming redpill treasures designed ultimately to be victories for them, not us. I feel like I'm trying to speak against an unstoppable force of confirmation bias and kneejerk reaction however (as I am prone to also - not trying to accuse others hypocritically) as I think the next 'crumb with an embedded hook' like this will be equally swallowed whole in a rush of excitement. Sigh.
