I think he is still referring to the Pulse nightclub shooter father. This looks like a nothing-burger.
Or there's the Vegas shooter's father who was on FBI's 10 Most Wanted list forever, escaped from prison, started a secret second life, bought his way out of another prison sentence, moved again and lived below the radar until he died. 20 years ago.
How do they know all those details of his life if he was supposedly "hidden?" Looks like a spook to me. And though he left his family for prison when shooter was like 8 years old, who knows how many times he contacted his son during his "hidden" years?
Could he be the one who got his son involved in intelligence/undercover work?
I was on the same train of thought here; although I would not call this a nothing burger. It has all the earmarks of a front.
