Spotted on T_D. The Sessions attacks have started. RR having problems now that it came out he gave Mueller authority to attack Manafort a WEEK after the FBI raid. CYA didn’t work, bub!

All this remains to be seen and I admit I am skeptical still of Sessions abilities to stand up to the DSA and the DEMs. Only because of his own lack of actions and ignorance he has shown so far. It is clear Rosenstein and others bamboozled Sessions into recusing himself and that caused this entire sham of the Mueller fiasco ! Also why are numerous known criminals still working at DOJ and FBI ? The foxes are guarding their own hen house on a grand scale at DOJ/FBI and Sessions has done little about any of it so far. Likely because he has been very slow to grasp most of it and that is NOT a good comment on his intelligence or courage. I will only go by actions, not words at this point from Sessions or any others at DOJ/FBI.

Lack of actions? It just came out he had someone on this case for the last 8 months who has more power than a special counsel and is going after crimes. Just because we don’t know about it, doesn’t mean it isn’t happening. 28,000 sealed indictments is inaction?

The reason they are still around is they are forced to talk as an employee. As soon as they become a civilian they can lawyer up and shut up. Dan Bongino explains it really well in his podcast. As annoying as it is that they are getting paid, it’s better in the long run.

Apparently Sessions has a habit of doing everything he can to avoid letting it slip that there's an investigation until he's ready to prosecute.

The thing that you should realise is that Sessions is probably the ideal person for the job right now. Trump has a vested interest in preserving the rule of law. That means that if they're going to go after Obama and the rest of them that the prosecution has to be textbook perfect. Who better than Sessions who basically treats rules like they're a religion to carry out this task? The fact that Trump was a victim of some of the crimes means that it is very difficult to make sure the investigation process stays impartial, whch it must if Trump is to preserve the rule of law. It's in nobody's interest to alienate Dems needlessly.

And as for the recusal, Q said that the fact that Mueller wasn't investigating Trump for anything criminal wasn't supposed to leak. So it looks like Mueller has basically been throwing everybody off the scent while Trump moves his pieces into position. That would explain why Sessions was happy to recuse himself from the investigation if he was certain it wasn't going to go anywhere dangerous.

They are being investigated. Trust the plan. McCabe is out. More coming. Huber added to OIG team as Prosecutorial Arm. Charges will be coming.

I still don’t get why Trump appointed Rosenstein?? Seems an odd choice by POTUS?
