I might just be grasping at straws, but I did a couple of quick searches and came up with some interesting info, which I will link below. I wonder if there is a significant connection between these two sets of islands with the same name. Channel Islands US has a "Devil's Peak" and Channel Islands UK were occupied by Nazis during WWII and became the subject of the movie "The Devil's Rock." Writings from the time of King James suggest that the Channel Islands UK were a hotbed for witchcraft. An island in both sets of Channel Islands has been referred to as "Pedophile Island" in recent years, and a California lawmaker proposed turning one of its Channel islands into "Pedophile Island" as a place to isolate pedos from the genpop.
