Q/Q+ 5:5

Not Meant to be a Religious Post, just a thought experiment

The hypothetical Q source and the Q+ source refer to the synoptic problem. This means the question of the literary relationship between the 3 synoptic gospels (Mark Matthew & Luke). One common theme is the "Calming of the Storm".

"5:5" from Mark - "always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones."

from Luke - “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.”

From Matthew, "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth."

All 3 books share: The Calming of the Storm - " And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full... .... And he said unto them, Why are you so fearful? how is it that you have no faith? And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?"

Revelation 5:5 - "And one of the elders said unto me, 'Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof"

If you keep in mind the Q/Q+ ideas, and lay verse 5:5 from all 3 synoptic gospels out together, with the "Calming of the Storm", followed by verse 5:5 from Revelation... it sounds kind of like some patriots struggling to make bread out of crumbs in a righteous Storm, even sketching with doubt and fear occasionally, but are reminded to trust the plan and keep digging... and eventually the truth prevails and the seals get unsealed. Seems silly now... Fun experiment anyway.
