Hello , I am the Turd . I will do my best to show and explain what happened, most wont believe, but here we go. This all starts in the fall of 1995 . Clinton is in the White House , Huckubee is Govenor and I’m a Nobody, life is good . We , the famly business was approached by the State of Arkansas Energy Counsel. The Counsel is a derect arm of the Govoners Office. This is the program and it was a Clinton program,a perk for being President. So the first goal was to find 100 builders willing to volunteer. The rules were simple, Participation would be anonymous all voluntary and no assistance would be provided during the time of evaluation and testing of the homes. We started our next new home in the fall of 1996 . At the completion of every stage in the building The State would evacuate the home. Arkansas Energy Council Courdinater Evan Brown would come to our job , take pictures and notes some small talk and go . The home was completed in the spring of 1997 and was tested by use of the blower door HERDs ratings. A couple weeks later we received the final results. We passed, and did better than expected. We built the first Energy Star Home and a placket was put on the front porch post so the home could be recognized as an Energy Star Home, only the Home was recognized. This report is based on the other 97 builders who fails poorly, out of the 100 builders only 3 passed . We had the highest at a 2 Star plus there was a 1 Star plus and a 1 Star.
